I’m Mary Kathryn
As a pediatric nurse practitioner and working mom of two, I understand the unique challenges of navigating a busy family schedule and managing your kids’ healthcare needs. With extensive experience caring for kids and families, I’ve seen the challenges and barriers of traditional healthcare and decided to build a practice that genuinely meets families where they are.
Through the innovative direct care model, I remove insurance from the equation so we can build a trusting, supportive relationship centered on your family’s needs. I want you to experience the relief of seeing the same trusted provider every time (me!). You’ll have access to unlimited visits, telehealth, same-day and next-day appointments, and direct messaging with me for urgent concerns.
I obtained my Master of Science in Pediatric Primary Care from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville in 2010. I bring over 15 years of pediatric nursing and primary care experience. I love caring for kids of all ages! Pediatrics has always been a passion of mine- after all, everybody gets to leave with a sticker and a sucker! I love working with moms and babies and providing in-home visits for those early months so moms don’t have to journey out (which is especially helpful for parents of multiple kiddos!).
For parents with older children and teens, I offer enhanced support for adolescents’ mental health and well-being. Instead of the one visit a year that’s common with older kids, I’ll check in more often and give you resources and guidance on managing mental health, ADHD, athletic performance, and other common issues faced by kids and teens. No matter what stage of parenting you are in, I’m here to support and strengthen your family for the entire duration of your child-rearing performance (including the encore)!
