In addition to annual wellness visits, we offer unlimited visits for illnesses or injuries. Life with adolescents is often busy, with sports and extracurricular activities dominating your schedule! We make things easy with direct messaging for questions or concerns and virtual visits for urgent issues.

Mental health support

While older kids and teens may not need as much care as they age, they face new challenges that are important to monitor and address early. We check in with parents and adolescents every few months or as often as needed to assess their mental health and address any questions regarding the physical and hormonal changes they’re going through.

Health & nutrition for athletes

Older kids and teens who participate in competitive sports often train as hard as college athletes but don’t have the knowledge or education to fuel their bodies properly. Mary Kathryn provides parents and teens with education and resources for proper sports nutrition and guidance on supporting healthy eating while preventing disordered eating patterns.

Nutrition & weight management

Many adolescents struggle with healthy eating, experience sudden weight gain, or face a daunting diagnosis of prediabetes or diabetes. We walk parents and teens through their issues and provide in-depth support and education on proper nutrition, lifestyle modification, and personalized recommendations to help them meet their goals. Our approach is customized and prioritizes overall physical and mental health. Specific interventions will vary based on each child’s individual needs and goals.

Extensive mental health support for parents and adolescents

As your primary care provider, we are often the first point of contact when mental health issues arise. We offer support and treatment for depression, anxiety, and ADHD, depending on your child’s unique needs. We can refer you to additional support and resources online or in the Nashville community. We are always here to listen and support you and your family.
